  3. Im right here with you babe. I just got out of the hospital for my worst grand mal yet. Was post ictal for an entire day… ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข. Epilepsy is a horrible disease.

  4. For those with epilepsy… I have a question!
Have any of you been diagnosed with reflex epilepsy ? Theyโ€™re trying to figure out if my seizures are triggered by repetitive actions… so bizarre.
Do you ever experience deja rรชve??
Deja reve It means dreamt before itโ€™s very similar to deja vu.. but it is like deja – dreaming?
I get these flashes of what I believe are a string of dreams but with this bizarre sensation that whatever is happening- memory or dream, is something on the tip of my tongue and that I can never fully remember. I kept a log one day recently and it happened like 50 times in 1.5 hours, it is the most bizarre and frustrating thing. The brain is so fascinating, Iโ€™ve heard that it is a fairly common symptom in those with epilepsy. Angelique do you ever have deja vu or deja reve? Do you have rapid memory recall or can anyone relate to this symptom? Had an eeg yesterday and will be finding out some more tomorrow. Hang in there buddy.

  5. Bless your heart, and I know exactly what and how you feel, before, during, and after you have one of these seizures. I also understand what your mom feels. I am 52, and I started having mine after I turned 36. Even though my neurologist have tried several different medications through the years with no success, but finally a few years back he put me on a new one, and still they kept happening, but then he decided to add another medicine, and after a few months and some tweaking with my meds the seizures started to get less in occurrences and severity, but they have not stopped completely. I can't drive really anymore, and I would tell him I would know when one was coming on, so I could pull over in time. He then said something to me that really opened my eyes, and it was "well, what if there might be that one time that you did not get that feeling of one might be coming on, and it did. Then think of what could happen.". So, I am praying that yours will stop as suddenly as mine started. I really wish and pray that someone would finally come up with a cure. You all take care, and I'll be praying! ๐Ÿ™ Love you all, Martha๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜ We have to try and stay positive, and keep pushing forward the best we can.๐Ÿ˜‹

  7. I love how much you need your mom, how you guys work together to get through the seizure, and then go back to your real world. My whole family is Canadian and you guy are quality people.

  8. I'm so glad I found this channel. I have pretty mild seizures. Not that hers are always mild. But my idea of a seizure was always something more dramatic. So I didn't understand my seizures for a long time. I didn't even realize they were seizures. I just thought I was spacing out and maybe it was something wrong with my eyes? Seeing her seizures reminds me of my own. Confusing to anyone who doesn't understand. And I don't know about anyone else, but people think I'm "faking" or "exaggerating" because I do have a weird sense of humor and I act weird for fun a lot anyway. But having a seizure is so weird. Sometimes I feel I am doing something just cuz I want to. Like when she's snapping her fingers…I can totally relate. Sometimes you do little things that you may have slight control over when you're losing all other control.
